Lunaversum is a competitive multiplayer strategy game operated by Márton Imre Farkas, a private individual resident in Switzerland. These terms are the agreement between you and him. Where they say "we", that is who it means.
By creating an account you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not create an account.
These terms are available in English and Hungarian. Both say the same thing. If a difference ever arises between the two, the English text is the one that governs.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and play Lunaversum.
We do not verify your age. We rely on what you tell us by creating an account, and we may close an account if we learn its holder is below this age.
You need one account to play. Keep your passphrase to yourself: anyone who has it can act as you, and we cannot tell the difference.
If you lose your passphrase you can recover access by email, provided your address has been verified. We cannot restore an account whose email address you no longer control.
You may sign out of every device at any time from your profile, and you may delete your account at any time. Deletion is explained in our Privacy Policy, and it is not reversible once it takes effect.
Play with one account. Do not use another commander's account, and do not share yours.
Do not automate play, script the client, or use tools that give you an advantage the game does not give everyone.
Do not attempt to break, overload, or probe the game servers, and do not attempt to read or alter data belonging to other commanders.
Choose a commander name and planet name that other players can reasonably be shown. Names that are abusive, hateful, or impersonate someone else may be changed or removed.
Every outcome in Lunaversum — combat results, resource production, fleet movement, tournament standings — is calculated by the game server. The app on your device shows you what the server decided; it does not decide anything itself.
Server results are final. Where the app and the server disagree, the server is correct, including when the app has shown you something else.
We may correct results affected by a fault in the game, and we may adjust or restart a tournament that a fault has made unplayable. We will not adjust a result simply because it went badly for you.
Lunaversum is offered as it is. We do not promise that it will be available without interruption, that tournaments will run to a fixed schedule, or that your progress in an ongoing tournament will survive a serious fault.
The game is under active development. Rules, balance, and features change between tournaments, and a strategy that worked in one may not work in the next.
We may change these terms. If we do, the version recorded against your account stays as it was; continuing to play after a change means the new terms apply to you from then on.
We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms — in particular the fair play rules above — or that is being used to harm other commanders or the service.
Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why, using the email address on the account, and you may reply to that message to contest it. Where a breach is causing ongoing harm we may act first and explain afterwards.
Removing an account ends access to it and to any progress in an ongoing tournament. Nothing in the game has monetary value and nothing is refundable, because nothing is sold.
Lunaversum is a game, provided free of charge. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost progress, lost time, lost standings, or any indirect loss arising from playing it.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. This includes liability for intentional wrongdoing or gross negligence under Swiss law, and liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, where the law of your country provides it.
Lunaversum is operated by Márton Imre Farkas, Switzerland, acting as a private individual and not as a registered company.
He is also the data controller for the personal data the game processes. What that data is, and what happens to it, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by Swiss law, without displacing any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
If the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your own country's courts — as it does throughout the European Union and the United Kingdom — you keep that right.
Questions about these terms, and anything else about Lunaversum, go to support@lunaversum.com.
We read that address and reply to it. It is also the address to use for any request about your personal data.
